Friday YouTube Worship 10

Caught this over on Randy Elrod’s blog. It’s called Something’s Got To Change by Josh Wilson. Yes, I know this isn’t on YouTube. Semantics shmemantics.

Yes, you’ll see Matt Redman in this clip (same guy from last week) but he’s playing with Hillsong London, doing Greatest Gift, which is one of my favs from the Jesus Is album. Give it a listen.

Condemnation falls away
Never more to call on me and I am clean, yes I am clean
The powerful work of you in me
Breaks the chains of guilt and shame and I go free, yes I go free

I take them to your cross and leave them there
Captured by this grace I’m free at last

It is the great gift of Your salvation
Working in me, working in me
It is the life giving taste of heaven
Your kindness revealed, Your kindness revealed to me

It’s the greatest gift of all
It’s the greatest gift of all
It’s the greatest gift of all

Your mercy’s pouring down on me, Your mercy’s pouring down on me
And I am clean, I am clean
Your mercy’s pouring down on me, Your mercy’s pouring down on me
And I go free, I go free

Matt Redman’s Facedown album is one of my favorite worship albums of all time. In my opinion, every song on there is of high quality. Here’s a slower tune from that album called Pure Light. It’s a great song to just slow down to, and pause in His presence.

O, to see You as You are
To glimpse the wonders yet unseen
Assist my sight, unveil my eyes
To see You
Lord, to know You as You are
To even dare to speak or stand
Though marked beloved, to fall as dead
When I see You
And through grace untold, to see You
With this heart unveiled, to know You
Lord, in Your pure light
How great the glory of Your name
How small the voice I humbly bring
Yet with my all I raise a song
When I see You
It is the song of love’s pure light
The grace reflected in these eyes
The overflow of those who know
They have seen You
We are disgraced, but You graced us
With the warmth of Your forgiveness
Now You lead us ever closer
To the pure light of Your holiness
And I’ll sing of the wonders of Your grace
Sing of the wonders of Your grace
Sing of the wonders of Your grace, O Lord
And I’ll tell of the glory of Your name
Tell of the glory of Your name
Tell of the glory of Your name, O Lord

An appropriately Spring-themed video for you today. Here’s David Crowder Band doing Everything Glorious at this year’s Dove Awards.

Friday YouTube Worship 06

I realize, like, half of the songs I’ve posted for Friday YouTube Worship have been United songs but their stuff is just solid. This week’s song is called Salvation is Here from their album Look to You. Don’t be scared to get up and jump around to this one a bit. A little worship is a great way to head into the weekend.

God above all the world in motion
God above all my hopes and fears
And I don’t care what the world throws at me now
I’m gonna be alright
Hear the sound of the generations
Making loud our freedom song
All in all that the world would know Your name
It’s gonna be alright
Cause I know my God saved the day
And I know His word never fails
And I know my God made a way for me
Salvation is here
Salvation is here
Salvation is here and He lives in me
Salvation is here
Salvation that died just to set me free
Salvation is here
Salvation is here and He lives in me
Salvation is here
Cause You are alive and You live in me
