Joao makes his home with his father and his mother. Making beds and running errands are his household duties. His father is sometimes employed as a laborer and his mother maintains the home. There are 5 children in the family.

For fun, Joao enjoys soccer, playing with cars and playing with marbles. He attends Bible class regularly and is in kindergarten where his performance is average.
