How do you serve (inside and outside) your church?

Pretty straightforward question today.

How do you serve your church?

Maybe you’re on the hospitality team. Maybe you make food for the band. Maybe you give time at the local homeless shelter or youth center. Or something else entirely.

What do you inside and outside your church to make Him more famous?

    Help teach a senior youth group every week on faith and christ. I also have begun building a new website for the church to help interact with new and future believers.

    I coordinate the disaster relief trips. I try to show God’s love in a practical way,yet it seems to me that He shows me how and where to grow. I almost feel guilty on these trips because I get to see God “in action” in my life and those we encounter. Also on the jobsite,I try to give a little”extra”,and am amazed how often God opens a door to witness and show who He is and what He does!!! I can’t believe that He chooses to use me!! Awesome!!

    My wife and I serve with a young adults group (ConneXion) talking to newcomers giving information about what we do and we also do a few service projects.

    The act of service has really been eating at me lately. I believe that it is one of the most effective ways of making Him famous. But it is an area that I need a lot of work in.
