Guatemala 2009 day one

Here’s yesterday, as a list:

  • Flight from Indy to Miami was on time. Good stuff.
  • I had to sit next to two air-headed blonde girls from Miami. Scot had to sit next to a woman with a four-month old baby. He won.
  • Flight from Miami to Guatemala City was delayed because a drug dealer had luggage on board and they had to take all the luggage off to find his luggage. Turns out he wasn’t a drug dealer. He was just late.
  • Flying in to Guatemala City at night was crazy. All of the lights are green, amber and yellow.
  • I got to see Scot dress up as Superman.

More later. We’re spending time at the baby’s home this morning then Eliza Martinez this afternoon. Ideally I’ll be able to edit and upload more images tonight.

Keep praying!

I’m excited that you are in Guatemala and get the opportunity to meet the kids. Tell Juan Pablo that: Soy un amigo de tu mami y papi. Emily and I are praying for you guys.

Will do! Wait til you see the footage of me… ahem, flinging Juan Pi around. His laugh is infectious.
