Finding Facebook

I subscribe to nearly 200 feeds and go through them multiple times a day. Over the course of the past few weeks it seems like I can’t get through more than a dozen articles before someone is talking about how Facebook is the new “thing”. Real connections are being made on the Facebook platform, and it seems as if there are some safeguards in place that will keep it free of some of the crazy, over the top, weird, virus-laden profiles that so frequently don the pages of MySpace.

Finally, on Dave Ferguson’s advice, I joined. That’s right. I signed up for Facebook. I even created an eXchange group on Facebook, so if you’re part of eXchange I suggest you go sign up. Why? Who knows, maybe we’ll do something fun in the future with this. Who can say.
