Desperation in my bones
This is from today’s journaling, 2 Corinthians 11 (MSG):
28-29And that’s not the half of it, when you throw in the daily pressures and anxieties of all the churches. When someone gets to the end of his rope, I feel the desperation in my bones. When someone is duped into sin, an angry fire burns in my gut.
Do you feel desperation in your bones when someone’s at the end of their rope? Do you get angry when someone’s duped into sin?
I know I don’t like it when these things happen, but desperation and anger aren’t two words I’d use to describe my feelings.
Perhaps my feelings need adjusted.
