Paris Hilton on the Letterman show

I think you know who’s going to win this one. At about half way through the video, it’s almost painful to watch. I had to look away a couple times because I was embarrassed for her.

And yet… I still laughed. Thanks for the heads up Alan.

Race for the Cure 2007

image

For the first time in my life I’m taking part in the Race for the Cure. The organization I’m registered through has been so gracious as to give me my own donations page to help raise dollars to help with the fight against breast cancer.

First, let me just clarify. No, I’m not a woman. I’m married to a woman who happens to have breasts. I’ll leave it at that.

Anyway, if you’d like to help me raise some moolah to go toward this worthy cause, hit up my donations page (or click the Komen for the Cure image at the top of this post) and you can donate from there. Even a dollar would help quite a bit. The race begins Saturday at 10 a.m. so I have exactly 48 hours from the time this post originated to get some donations.

If you’re already sponsoring someone, then thanks! Also, if you just want to check out my local Race for the Cure event page, click here.

Radical honesty

876579_12803962 I love the concept. That little filter that exists between brain and mouth? Get rid of it. Let’s all just be honest and tell everyone else what we’re really feeling.

Yes. I know. One of the most idiotic ideas ever, right up there with Vanilla Coke and giving Phil Spector a gun permit. Deceit makes our world go round. Without lies, marriages would crumble, workers would be fired, egos would be shattered, governments would collapse.

And yet…maybe there’s something to it.

WARNING: this article contains some foul language. Really foul. BUT… the article also touches on authentic relationships, and I think reading it might make you think before you tell that next little white lie.

Aren’t we all looking for real, authentic relationships?
