I’m carried away by the sound of this instrument! It’s called a hang drum (hand is pronounced hung in this case) and while it sounds similar steel drum, it’s definitely unique unto itself. Dante (the player in the video) is certainly gifted. Check it.

You may be wondering, “what’s a Zune?” It’s actually the second most popular PMP (portable media player) out there, right behind the iPod. Zune is Microsoft’s offering in the PMP space and has done well for itself.

Last week Microsoft announced the next generation of Zunes, titled the Zune 4, Zune 8 and Zune 80 (the numbers representing the storage value in gigabytes). When the new Zunes get released there will also be new firmware which will update the first generation of Zunes (all 30 gig players, now aptly redubbed the Zune 30) giving them all kinds of fun new features.
